Production Manager
Job Description
WeGotSoccer (WGS) is a fast growing direct to consumer soccer specialty apparel company based in Foxboro, Massachusetts. WGS is seeking to hire an experienced Production Manager. The Production Manager is in charge of all production scheduling, monitoring and oversight. This individual will maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources, studying methods, and implementing cost reductions. The Production Manager also maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals
- EZ-Kit shipping and production flow management
- Meet regularly with production departments and plan staffing assignments to ensure production forecasts are met
- Manage and assist in improving productional unit’s efficiency
- Review and approve production and shipping expenses
- Interact with Teams Sales on any problems with orders or inventory
- Maintain production supply inventory
- Review production metrics
- Coordinate production training
- Establish internal guidelines for production standards
- Interacting with Customer Service on quality control and reporting
- Ensure company policies are fully understood and abided by employees
- Supervise and coach production leads
- Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures
- Ensure all staff Timecards are correct and signed off for payroll processing
Required Skills:
- Excels in operating in a fast-paced work environment
- Delegates responsibilities effectively
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Understanding of the sporting goods industry a PLUS
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in Production
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and overall computer savvy
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
